MISSION:

To spread the awareness about Gender sensitization in and around Visakhapatnam. Discuss the truths of the mutual respects of all the genders pertaining to the society.Gender champions are designated in all educational institutions across the country to promote gender equality and to change the mode of interaction at all levels such as home, schools, colleges, universities, workplaces, etc. The champions will facilitate an enabling environment within their colleges where girls are treated with dignity and respect. The purpose of gender champions, is to engage young boys and girls to challenge and shift gender norms.The student representatives are selected as gender champions on the basis of their intelligence, decisiveness and honesty, which are absolutely essential qualities of a leader.This committee is working under the esteemed guidance of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr).S.Surya Prakash and Hon’ble Registrar Prof. (Dr). C.M.Rao.
