About

Prof. Dr. Kondaiah Jonnalagadda possesses over twenty-three (23+) years of experience in teaching and conducting research within the field of law.  He became Professor of Law at Damoadaram Sanjiyya National Law University , Vishakapatnam from May, 2026. Prior to this he was associated with Maharashtra National Law University,  Chhtrapati Sambhaji Nagar as Professor of law, Dean, and Head of the Department , from July 2018- May,2026..  Prior to this, he worked as Associate Professor of Law at National Law University, Odisha. He was also Director, Distance Education, NLUO, Swayam Coordinator. He served as Assistant Professor of Law at the National Law Institute University, Bhopal (M.P.), from September 2006 to April 2016.   He also has association with the Dept. of Legal Studies, University of Madras as Student, University Research Fellow (2002-05), and Project Assistant in Chair in IPR, MHRD, GOI (2005-06,) and has also been Resource Person to the Institute of Distance Education, Madras University (2002-06). He served as a Visiting Faculty at Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar in 2009, RMNLU, Lucknow in 2009, KIIT, Odisha in 2014, and the Institute of Company Secretaries in Chennai from 2005 to 2006.

He has been recipient of a. L.C.Miller Medal 2002 (Gold Medal) b. The Dr. A.L. Mudaliar Prizes 2002, and Justice M.N. Rao Prize 2002.

He is also a member of the National Indian Competition Experts – Cartel Working Group (NICE-CWG) for 2020-2021 and 2021-2022, under the Competition Commission of India. Additionally, he served as Acting Vice-Chancellor of MNLUA from December 2018 to August 2019.  He is also Concessional Member, Society of International Economic Law (2020-22). He also member of General Council, Executive Council, Academic Council and Building Committee of Mnlua. His Areas of interest include Private International Law, Corporate Law, Securities Law, International Law, International Economic Law and Competition Law.
