About the Centre
C-FAME is among India’s first academic legal centers dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of Fashion Law, Media Law, and Entertainment Law. The Centre aims to promote high-quality legal scholarship and encourage informed academic dialogue on contemporary legal issues and developments affecting creative and digital ecosystems

The Centre was founded with the objective of sensitizing law students to the scope and prospects of legal research and practice within creative industries. C-FAME remains committed to advancing research, dialogue, and experiential learning, with a focus on preparing future legal professionals to navigate rapid global developments and address the evolving legal challenges of the Fashion, Media, and Entertainment sectors.

In furtherance of its academic mandate, C-FAME is gearing up to conduct a Call for Papers and a National Conference on “Media, Entertainment & Technology Law”, scheduled to be held on 4th and 5th April, 2026, with Nishith Desai Associates serving as the Knowledge Partner and Title Sponsor.
