Dr. Neelima.B has completed her Commerce graduation and Law graduation in First Division from Andhra University. She has completed her law Post graduation with business Law as specialization in First division and has also obtained her PhD from Andhra University for her Thesis titled “Indian Law and Practice of Geographical Indications – A Socio Legal study on Uppada Jamdani Saree”. She has served as a Guest faculty in GITAM School of International Business (GSIB), GITAM Engineering & Technology and GITAM School of Law. Her areas of interests are Intellectual Property Laws and Commercial Laws. She is also active in the research of impact assessment of Geographical Indications and identifying potential products in and around Andhra Pradesh. An extensive researcher and dedicated academician committed to creating awareness on Geographical Indications, who also achieved second place in the WIPO Video Competition 2023. Subjects Taught in LLB and LLM in different semesters are Biotechnology Law, International Dispute Settlement, Law of Carriage, Information Technology Laws, Sports Law, Intellectual Property Laws, Health Laws, Criminal Justice and Human Rights, Law And Justice In Globalizing World.
She is an Assistant Editor of Journal of Academy of Juridical Studies and also Assistant Editor of Bonafide Voices (An interdisciplinary Online Magazine).
